Drumming the Ancestors: 5-Element Sound Attunement Therapy
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 10 PEOPLE – THIS EVENT IS FULL – IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST, PLEASE CALL THE ROBIN’S NEST AT 508-244-4881.
Come join New England Sound Therapy and the Robin’s Nest for an evening of healing through positive disruption!
Are you ready to shift and release energy patterns that are no longer working for you? Feeling stuck or out of balance? Need to get the energy moving in your life?
Reset your rhythm with the transformative, healing energy of the drum and the powerful rhythms of the five Elements, while under the nurturing guidance of the Ancestors. We will disrupt unhealthy patterns, shift that energy into alignment and transform undesirable conditions within to help you restore and balance your body, mind, heart and spirit. Let the sounds of the drum wake up and empower the healer within you.
You are welcome to bring your own drum to learn these rhythms and, if you choose to, more actively participate in the manifestation of sound and energy but it is not necessary in order to benefit from this powerful, unique healing experience.
Bio: Paul began his study of the drum over thirty years ago. He is a trained Remo HealthRHYTHMS Group Empowerment Drumming facilitator, plays Kirtan as a member of Bhakti Bliss and performs with the Bese Saka performance troupe. He started working with the Sound Attunement Therapy system over three years ago with its founder, Toby Christensen.
About S.A.T.: 5-Element Sound Attunement Therapy is a modern system of wellness that is deeply rooted in the traditions and beliefs of the Dagara people of West Africa. At its core are rhythms embodying each of the five elements of Fire, Water, Earth, Mineral and Nature, complemented with spiritual tools from Native American, European and Indian traditions. The efficacy of the Sound Attunement Therapy system over the last 20+ years has earned its founder Toby Christensen the nickname “the Healing Drummer”.
