Ancestral Altars

Our departed loved ones are still around us and ready to aid their descendants. As once-living, the ancestors have a better grasp of what it is like to be a human and care about us, our needs and our well being. Their empathy for our lives makes them uniquely suited to help us manifest the lives we want and need. Because of this, ancestral veneration is a powerful practice in many different traditions. A key concept in many forms of ancestral honoring is the use of an altar as the means to commune, honor, and thank the ancestors, building their presence in your home, and in your spiritual life. In this class you will learn about how to honor and communicate with your ancestors, build an altar, ask them for help, make offerings, and work magick with them.
